We are less than 1 week away -
We have gotten so many responses back of classmates that are coming
Friday & Saturday ~ It will be a great two nights for everyone.
Everything is pretty well set in place, and should hopefully turn
out good for everyone. Please see the below schedule of events
for both Friday & Saturday nights - if you come up with any

Classmate Sean Stevens

8:00 ~ Class Photo being taken by Tom Killoran Photography (cost $15
which will have 25th reunion, Chesterton High School Class of 1986
and the date on it) and they will have them back to you within 2
hours after taking the photo's - so be sure to bring the extra
$15.00. (payable by cash, check or Credit Card - Discover Card NOT
accepted.
8:30 ~ Rob Hunt will be leading a Memorial tribute to those
classmates that have passed with a special word again from Sean Stevens.
8:45-12 Dancing, Drinking and Socializing
* We will be passing out door prizes donated by local business
throughout the evening.
* We will have a 50/50 Drawing (winning ticket pulled at 10pm ~ must
be present to win)
* Also there will be a couple baskets to purchase tickets, and place
the tickets in for a chance to win either: 4 Railcats box seat
Tickets any game, or 4 Cincinnati Reds tickets to the August 28th
game, or two Autographed Pictures of two current White Sox players,
or a gift basket from Thirty-One, or a chance to win a Gazebo Charm
- remember our Gazebo here in our own Centennial Park.
One
more thing for dinner - if you need anything special like vegetarian
etc please send me a message and let me know prior to that night -
whether it be for you or your guest so that the people making the
food can accommodate the request before hand.

June 26, 2011 ~
I met with Waterbird and we
have to have the actual last final head count to them by July 11 ~
so that means get those RSVPS's in ASAP. We are going to have
a fantastic 25th Reunion. Also - when we went to the Waterbird
- when you come there - The Inn is on the left side - so you want to
turn and go to the right around the building under the wooden awning
and the entrance is over there Under the grey brick awning.

June 22,2011~
I have to meet with Waterbird
on Friday 6/24 to finalize all details and give them a head
count...Please get those RSVP's in along with your questionnaires.
Speaking of Questionnaires I need those returned to me by July
1st so that I can get your information included in the books!! Any
questions, or need things sent to you again - please let me know!!
Our reunion is 3 weeks from this Saturday...I hope you all are as
excited as I am to see this get here.
June 16, 2011 ~
We are officially 1 month out
from our 25th class reunion (Waterbird Banquet Hall, Chesterton IN
on July 16th from 6pm-12AM) Check out the Confirmation page
and see who all has sent in their payments and made it to the list.
Please get those payments and questionnaires in ASAP so we can get
the last minute head counts in, and your information included in the
Memory Books that will be passed out the night of the reunion.
If you are not able to make it to the reunion, and you would like a
copy of the Memory book - you can #1) come to the Meet & Greet the
night before the reunion (July 15th) at Westchester Lanes (7pm-??)-
and I will have some there for a cost of $5.00. Or #2) you can
send $5.00 to CHS Class of 1986, 5572 Redwood Avenue, Portage, IN
46368 and I will mail one out to you when they are complete.

Well everyone we are less than
2 months away from our 25th Class Reunion at the Waterbird. We have
been getting several RSVP's and the money in - that is awesome!!
Please try to continue to get them in here soon so that we can get
our final Head Count for The Waterbird. Please take a quick
look at the MIA classmate list and see if you can help us find
someone else - we want to get everyone invited to the class reunion
or the chance to say "no" on their own with an invite then not even
having one. Also please remember for
those who have RSVP'd that NO they are not coming (whether it is due
to Finances, or other obligations) that we will be having the Meet &
Greet the Friday before the Reunion July 15th at Westchester Lanes
in Chesterton at 7pm till whenever. Come out have a cocktail

The night of the Reunion - our
DJ: Brad Welbourn from Advanced DJ's has indicated if we have CD of
old photo's he will play it that night during dinner (or whenever we
choose). So I ask each of you to try and pull out those hold
photo's of anytime during 9th - 12th of parties, gatherings -
sporting events, any gatherings and send them my way and we will
scan/return for you - or email them to me. Thanks for your
anticipated help with this small project!!

we are starting to really to
get the verbal RSVP's, and the money ~ Thanks everyone -
please continue to get those in along with the Questionnaires for
the Memory Books that will be passed out that night. If
you are not able to make it to the Class Reunion - You can also send
$5.00 into us and we will mail you one of the books.
Also ~ Thank you to everyone
that participated in the Thirty Something Fund Raiser that our
Classmate LeAnn Miller-Campinello helped to put it together - with
15 % of the money raised, it will be put towards an item that will
go as a give away the night of the Reunion!! THANKS LeAnn!!
We are planning another
Rummage Sale/Car Wash on Saturday May 14th at Westchester
Lanes/Lounge. Please contact me so that we can get those
items laying around your house that you are wanting to get rid of..
The more items we can get from you - the more money we can raise -
don't forget to come by to get your cars washed! All money
will go towards our reunion fund to make our night a memorable one.

for songs, full lights/lasers and can pull songs on the spot if he
doesn't have a requested song. It will be a great night!

We are slowly but surely
getting more confirmations w/payments in - which is awesome.
We have also started getting more of the Reunion questionnaire's
in...if you haven't sent yours in - get them emailed
(reunion1986chs@yahoo.com)
or faxed over: 219-926-2075 so that we can add your information to
the Memory Book that will be given away the the night of the
reunion. If you cannot make the reunion but would like a
memory book - send us $5 and will will mail one to you once the
reunion is over (CHS Class of 1986, 5572 Redwood Avenue, Portage, IN
46368).
We have also been getting
donations from different local business such as gift cards, gift
certificates, charm from a jewelry store, 4 tickets to Railcats, etc
- the door prizes are coming along nicely.
We have also sent out requests
to local business asking them to advertise in our Memory Book
(another way to try to raise more money for our reunion) but we
haven't gotten any takers on that yet. If you know of someone
who would like to advertise in our Books, please have them get in
touch with me at the above email or by cell: 219-771-7666.
Cost is $25 1/4 page, $50 1/2 page, or $100 for entire page.
Our Next reunion meeting will
be Thursday March 17th at the Westchester Public Library in
Chesterton @ 7pm if you are interested in coming and helping out.
We would love to see more involved.

Take a moment to view our

We had mentioned earlier about
possibly setting up tours of the Old High School and New High
School, and that will not be able to be worked out on the date of
our reunion, sorry if anyone was excited about that...

Well by now all of
you who haven't sent in your payments yet and who haven't for sure
Declined the Reunion Invite - were sent a reminder in the mail to
send in your payments...and what do you know - I have received more
confirmations through email/message that payments will be coming in
- that is great News. My confirmation list is huge...and once we get
the payments in - the confirmation page on here will be just as
big!!
We also sent out
donation letters to area businesses & fellow classmates who have
businesses of their own - asking for donations for door prizes and
to advertise in our memory books that will be passed out at the
reunion. We have gotten several donations in - and
hopefully those keep rolling in so we can give you lots of
prizes that night. As far as advertisements - we haven't
gotten any bites on those yet - but hopefully we will - the deadline
for the information for the advertisements have to be in by June 1st
in order for us to get the books published on time.
Don't forget - get
those payments in with your questionnaires: Checks can be made out

Hi
fellow classmates ~ this is Michelle Davis Newcomb wanting to stop
by and touch base with all of you...
1. All of the
mailings have went out ~ Some we have had returned and those names
have been added to the MIA Classmates list - remember to take a look
and see if there is someone on there you can help us find and
location and get the invitation information to them. We want
this reunion to be the biggest and best so far for our 25th!.
2. It was
also decided that we would invite some of our fellow students that
attended school with us but were not able to graduate with us do to
moving or what have you. If you are one of the people, please

include your full name (first maiden name (if it applies) and last
name with address, email and phone number).
3. If you
have lost your information that was mailed/emailed out to you -
please let me know and we can resend it to you. Or if you are

4. We have
looked into having a tour of the Old CHS and the new CHS for
Saturday morning (the day of the reunion) - please let me know if
this is something you would be interested in so we know if this
should be looked into more...
5. We have
the DJ Set : Brad Welbourne will be ready to play some great music
for all of us. He includes Video's for songs. He also has full
lights/laser show - so should be good. He also offered to play
a CD playing photo's if we bring/send in...so if you want to see old
photo's from our School days playing during cocktails & dinner -
send them to

will put together a CD for the night of the reunion.
6. We have
the photographer set to take a class photo: Tom Killoran Photography
who will take the photo's that night and have them returned for $15
a piece. Please make sure to bring extra money so you can take
home of the 25th reunion photo's!
7. We had our
Car Wash & Rummage Sale Fundraiser and Raised $811 - which was great
and helped towards one of our many deposits.
On one final
note for now - Even if you are not able to attend the 25th Reunion
we would appreciate it if each and everyone of you could please
return the questionnaire that was mailed/emailed to you back to us
so that we can use the information in our memory books that will be
giving to each of you at the reunion. It is included in the cost of
your reunion price. If your are unable to come and would like
a reunion memory book - just send in $5 and we will make sure you
get one mailed out to you.
